# Wordojo > Wordojo is the daily training app for speaking and writing, by Neelverse Lab (Howrah, India), in beta on Android. Ten minutes a day: speak to the Mirror (camera and microphone feedback read on the phone), rehearse in AI role-play rooms, write with an AI red-pen editor, and climb ten levels shown as belts, from white to black. Android 8.0 or later; free to start, with an optional Pro plan. Its case, for the AI era: AI can draft the words, but knowing your point, briefing clearly, judging what comes back and saying it live are still yours to do, and that is what it trains. It coaches; it doesn't ghostwrite. ## Pages - [Wordojo home](https://wordojo.app/index.md): what Wordojo is, how it works, the belts, how it compares, privacy, FAQ - [Wordojo for Android (beta)](https://wordojo.app/app.md): pick your next big moment, try a rep in the browser, stories like yours, your first week, what's inside, download, version, requirements, permissions, install steps, FAQ - The "Why now" section ends with a 3-tap quiz that gives a speaker type and a first week; share links look like https://wordojo.app/type/rambler. - Wordojo in other languages, short pages for deciding in your own language (the app itself is in English, because it trains English): [हिन्दी](https://wordojo.app/hi), [বাংলা](https://wordojo.app/bn), [தமிழ்](https://wordojo.app/ta), [Español](https://wordojo.app/es), [简体中文](https://wordojo.app/zh), [日本語](https://wordojo.app/ja), [العربية](https://wordojo.app/ar) - [Website privacy](https://wordojo.com/privacy) - [App privacy policy](https://wordojo.app/app-privacy) - [Support](https://wordojo.com/support): sign-in codes, installing and updating, permissions, sync, backups; contact support@wordojo.com - [Terms of use](https://wordojo.com/terms) - [Delete your account](https://wordojo.com/delete-account): in the app (Settings, Data and privacy, Delete account) or on the web; what is deleted and what is kept ## Facts - Status: beta (new screens and fixes arrive as live updates) - Current version: 2.3.10 (28 October 2026), 5.0 MB - Download: https://wordojo.app/download/wordojo-2.3.10.apk - Update feed (JSON): https://wordojo.app/download/latest.json - Platforms: Android 8.0 or later today; iPhone later - Store: coming to Google Play as "Wordojo: Speak & Write Better" - Price: free to start (3 AI coach reviews a day); Pro $9.99 a month or $74.99 a year (INR 399 or INR 2,999 in India), 14-day free trial, no card - Sign-in: Google, or email with a one-time code - New in 2.3.8: Your big day (Today counts down to an interview, talk or pitch, with a rep for each stretch), Today's 30 seconds (one prompt and a mic on Today), You, then and now (your first take next to your latest) - Publisher: Neelverse Lab, Howrah, West Bengal, India - Created by: Indranil Banerjee (https://indranil.in) ## For agents - The page registers WebMCP tools (navigator.modelContext): `wordojo_cut_clutter` (tighten a sentence the way the red pen does), `wordojo_get_android_app` (download link, version, notes), `wordojo_about` (plain-text summary). - Ask for `text/markdown` at https://wordojo.app/ to get the Markdown version of the page. ## Optional - [Everything above in one file](https://wordojo.app/llms-full.txt) --- # Wordojo: train your words > Wordojo is a mobile app by Neelverse Lab (India) that trains how you speak and write, ten minutes a day. Both feed one streak, one XP total and one belt. - **Speak · Today.** Every day shows the one thing to do: your track's rep. Yesterday's take is drawn as a waveform, pace and fillers sit on a scoreboard, and a ghost of last week's you races alongside. Twelve minutes, often less. Today's 30 seconds puts one prompt and a mic right there: tap, talk, done. And once two takes are three days apart, You, then and now plays your first take next to your latest. - **Speak · Your big day.** Give an interview, a talk or a pitch a date and Today counts down to it: a rep for each stretch of the road (build, stories, rehearse, a full run the day before), a two-minute warm-up on the day and, afterwards, how did it go? - **Speak · Mirror.** Speak to your front camera. Posture, pitch, volume and pauses are read on the phone; it can scroll your own draft as a teleprompter. After the take: pace, every filler word, and the one fix that matters most. - **Speak · Rooms.** AI role-play for conversations that make you nervous: defend a number to a sceptical CFO, pitch in sixty seconds, hold your price in a deal. Every round is scored on clarity, confidence and fillers. - **Write · Today.** The Manuscript, seasons of ten-minute pages, one skill at a time. Your best line of the week, the week's event, the daily drop and your drafts. - **Write · Studio.** Posts, reel scripts, emails, memos, decks, speeches, stories and jokes, each with its own shape. The red pen, an AI house editor, marks a draft up one fix at a time. - **Write · Library.** 101 books for writers, each with why to read it and three ideas to use. Sixteen public-domain classics open in the app and work offline once opened. - **Belts.** Every rep, page and game earns XP. Ten levels from white belt to black; each asks a little more of your words. ## The belts | Belt | Level | Out loud | On the page | |---|---|---|---| | White | Warm-up (1) | Show up and talk for a minute | Finish one page, however rough | | Yellow | Clear (2) | Make one point in under a minute | Keep one idea to a paragraph | | Orange | Crisp (3) | Drop the ums and the so-basicallys | Cut every word that isn't working | | Green | Sharp (4) | Open with a line people remember | Write a hook that earns the next line | | Blue | Headline (5) | Lead with the news, then the why | Put the point in your first sentence | | Purple | Anchor (6) | Hold a room steady under questions | Build a piece people can skim | | Brown | Presence (7) | Use pace, pause and pitch on purpose | Sound like yourself on the page | | Black | Room-ready (8), then Senior-ready and Forged | Senior rooms, no notes | Publish work people pass on | ## Why Wordojo It trains you; it doesn't write for you. AI writing assistants write or rewrite text for you; Wordojo builds the skill with daily reps and notes on your own draft and your own voice, so it stays with you in a meeting where no tool can help. Courses and coaches work in booked, weekly sessions; Wordojo is ten minutes a day, speaking and writing together, and free to start. ## Privacy No selling data and no advertising profiles. The app counts what helps people practise, never what you say (on Android, also through Google Analytics for Firebase while Usage statistics is on in Settings, with no advertising tools); free members may see one labelled sponsored pick, chosen by context. The Mirror reads your camera and microphone on the phone and never uploads or saves the video. Text goes to an AI service only when you use an AI feature, for that request only. The website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties. ## FAQ **What is Wordojo?** A mobile app that trains how you speak and write, ten minutes a day, with the Mirror, AI role-play rooms, an AI red-pen editor and belts from white to black. **Can Wordojo get me ready for a specific interview or talk?** Yes. Give it a date in the app: an interview, a presentation, a pitch, an exam or viva, a wedding speech or a promotion talk. Today then counts down with a rep for each stretch of the road (build, stories, rehearse, a full run the day before) and a two-minute warm-up on the day, and afterwards asks how it went. **Who is it for?** People who need to be clear at work and online: founders, managers, consultants, students heading into interviews, and creators. **How is it different from ChatGPT or Grammarly?** Those tools write or fix text for you. Wordojo trains you to do it yourself. **How long does it take each day?** About ten minutes; twelve minutes or less for a day's reps. **Does it record my voice or video?** The Mirror's video is read on the phone and never uploaded or saved. Only if you ask for a word-by-word transcript does the sound of that one take go to Wordojo's server to be transcribed. **Is it free?** Yes, to start, and practice stays free. The free plan includes 3 AI coach reviews a day and may show one labelled sponsored pick. Pro ($9.99 a month or $74.99 a year; INR 399 or INR 2,999 in India) adds Ask Bubble and role-play without counting, about 15 AI coach reviews a day (fair use), Gems every month and no sponsored picks. You can try Pro free for 14 days, no card needed. **Is it on iPhone?** Not yet. Android 8.0 or later today; iPhone later. **How do I get it?** Download the Android app at https://wordojo.app, open it and sign in with your email or Google. Your first rep takes a minute, and there's nothing to pay. **Which languages?** Speaking practice is in English. The library includes Hindi and Bengali books; the Speech Theatre has speeches in English, Hindi, Bengali and Spanish. --- # Wordojo: the daily training app for speaking and writing (Android, beta) > Wordojo is the daily training app for speaking and writing, by Neelverse Lab, in beta on Android. Everything on the page works today; new screens and fixes arrive as live updates. - Current version: 2.3.10 (28 October 2026), 5.0 MB - Download: https://wordojo.app/download/wordojo-2.3.10.apk - SHA-256: 4b5cca6cf0417709be1a59b917a7dfe8a6b80ecd0082f55acb00e4b20518a967 - Update feed (JSON): https://wordojo.app/download/latest.json - Requires: Android 8.0 or later (iPhone later) - Store: coming to Google Play as "Wordojo: Speak & Write Better"; until then, the signed app downloads from wordojo.app - Price: free to start (3 AI coach reviews a day); Pro $9.99 a month or $74.99 a year (INR 399 or INR 2,999 in India), 14-day free trial, no card - Sign-in: Google, or email with a one-time code - Publisher: Neelverse Lab, Howrah, West Bengal, India - Created by: Indranil Banerjee (https://indranil.in) ## What's new - Older phones: the top and bottom bars match the screen, and the big day number and articles work again - Updates now arrive sealed, so only Wordojo can change the app on your phone - Tighter limits against misuse of AI and payments, behind the scenes ## Why now Words got cheap; meaning didn't. A short film on the page shows it in four beats: AI types a polished paragraph in two seconds; then the meeting starts, and there's no autocomplete in the room; everyone has AI now, but not everyone has a voice; AI hands you a draft, and you hold the red pen. Communication was No. 1 on LinkedIn's list of the most in-demand skills for 2024 ([source](https://www.linkedin.com/business/talent/blog/talent-strategy/linkedin-most-in-demand-hard-and-soft-skills)). Then a 3-tap quiz, "Which one are you?", gives one of six speaker types (the Rambler, the Freezer, the Ghost, the Copy-paster, the Blank-pager, the Over-writer) and the first three days of practice for it. Each type has its own share link, for example https://wordojo.app/type/rambler. ## Pick your next big moment The page asks what's coming up, and tells that story, each with its AI-era line ("AI can prep you. It can't sit it for you."). Link straight to one with `?for=` (for example https://wordojo.app/?for=post): - **Say it:** job interview (`interview`), pitch or presentation (`pitch`), client or team call (`call`), speech (`speech`), wedding toast (`toast`). Bubble counts your ums in the Mirror, and a Room plays the other side. - **Write it:** a post people finish (`post`), the email that has to land (`email`). Scribble scores the first line and red-pens the rest. - **Film it:** reel or Short (`reel`), YouTube video (`video`). Scribble writes the beats, and Bubble hears the ums when you say it to camera. ## Stories like yours Six made-up people (the page labels them as made up) using real features: Aarav's job interview (Bubble counts the ums, a Room plays the interviewer), Meera's LinkedIn post (Scribble cuts the warm-up), Kabir's first reel (Scribble writes the beats, Bubble hears the ums), Sana's startup pitch (a Room plays the investor), Rohan's wedding toast and Priya's big email (the ask moves to line one). ## Your first week, both sides - Monday, the Dojo Map: six small firsts (a rep, the Mirror, a Room, the red pen, a book, a nudge), each earning a seal. - Tuesday, the Mirror: talk to your phone; it counts fillers, pace and pauses on the phone. - Wednesday, a Room: the AI plays the other side (an interviewer, an investor, a client, the boss). - Thursday, the red pen: Scribble marks every cut and says why. - Friday, Studio: fifteen formats, each with its own coach (posts, reels, emails, speeches, decks, stories). - Saturday, the library: 101 books for writers, and great speeches a line at a time in the Speech Theatre. - Sunday, a belt: ten belts, white to black. ## Try a rep on the page The page opens on a demo that plays both sides in turn: a Mirror take catching its own filler words, then the red pen cutting a padded note from 21 words to 5. Tap **Try it yourself**, then type a sentence or say one, and the red pen marks it up: hedges and filler words struck out, wordy phrases shortened, the tighter version underneath with the word count. A spoken rep also shows your pace and the filler words it heard. Speech is turned into text by the browser's own service (Google's, in Chrome); nothing reaches Wordojo and nothing is saved. Browsers without speech-to-text measure talk time and pauses on the device instead. After your own rep, "Challenge a friend" shares a link with your numbers only (fillers and seconds, or how much the red pen cut), never your words; a friend who opens it sees your numbers and gets a verdict after their own rep. ## The coaches Four characters live in the app, each with one job: - **Bubble**, the speaking coach, hosts Speak. He gives one line on your last take and answers "Ask Bubble": speaking questions only, in two or three lines that end in one rep to try. - **Scribble**, the red pen, hosts Write. She answers "Ask Scribble" (writing only) and explains every cut. - **Nib** gives free hints in every game and lesson quiz. They're written in advance, and none of them names the answer. - **Babble** keeps you company in your first week on the Dojo Map. He only makes sounds. The whole family turns up when you earn a new belt. A two-minute family episode arrives each week and ends with one skill and one rep. You can have a private version written around what's coming up for you, such as an interview or a presentation; it uses one AI review. ## Inside the app A 22-second screen recording of the real app, sped up in places and without sound: https://wordojo.app/media/app-tour-1.mp4 - **Dojo Map (your first week):** six short firsts, a rep, the Mirror, a Room, the red pen, a book and a daily nudge; each stamps a seal and earns XP. - **Speak, Today:** the Line, a thirty-day speaking track with one short mission a day; the coach marks pace, fillers and the one thing to fix. - **Your big day:** give an interview, presentation, pitch, viva, wedding speech or promotion talk a date, and Today counts down to it with a rep for each stretch (build, stories, rehearse, a full run the day before), a two-minute warm-up on the day and, afterwards, how did it go? - **Today's 30 seconds:** one prompt a day and a mic right on Today. Tap, talk for thirty seconds and see your pace and fillers; the take is kept and ticks the day's rep. - **You, then and now:** Wordojo keeps your first take. Once two takes are three days apart, Today puts your first next to your latest, numbers side by side, both sounds a tap away, with a before-and-after to share. - **Mirror:** speak to your camera; posture, pitch, volume and pauses are read on the phone as you talk, with your own draft as a teleprompter. The video is never uploaded or saved. - **Rooms:** AI role-plays for the hard conversations (a CFO who wants numbers, an interview panel, a client who wants a discount), scored on clarity, confidence and fillers. - **Speech Theatre:** great speeches in English, Hindi, Bengali and Spanish, line by line. - **Write, Studio and the red pen:** posts, reels, emails, memos, decks, speeches and stories, each with its own shape; the red pen marks one fix at a time and says why. Check flags hedges, passive voice and the reading level on the phone, and X-ray shows a heat map of the draft. - **The Manuscript:** writing seasons of ten-minute pages, one skill at a time; each season is 90 days and the next one follows on. - **Library:** 101 books for writers, each with why to read it and three ideas to use; sixteen classics open in the app and stay readable offline. - **Belts, streaks and quests:** ten levels from white belt to black, daily quests and a weekly event. - **Ask Bubble and Ask Scribble:** short coaching answers from whoever hosts the side you're on, each ending in a rep. Each question uses one AI review. - **On your home screen:** a widget with your streak, the Daily Drop and its countdown to midnight; press and hold the icon for shortcuts to a quick take, a Senior Room, the compressor or a game. ## How to install 1. On your Android phone, open https://wordojo.app and tap **Download for Android**. 2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow installs from your browser for this one app. 3. Take the four-screen tour, then sign in with Google or your email (a one-time code arrives), so your progress is saved. 4. Wordojo keeps itself up to date: small changes arrive in the background, and it tells you when a new version is ready. ## Permissions | Permission | Why | |---|---| | Microphone | Speaking practice, dictation and the Mirror's voice readings | | Camera | The Mirror only; read on the phone, never uploaded or saved | | Notifications | Only the reminders you switch on | | Internet | AI coaching, videos and sync; most practice works offline | ## FAQ **Can Wordojo get me ready for a specific interview or talk?** Yes. **Is the Wordojo app free?** Yes, to start, and practice stays free. The free plan includes 3 AI coach reviews a day and may show one labelled sponsored pick. Pro ($9.99 a month or $74.99 a year; ₹399 or ₹2,999 in India) adds Ask Bubble and role-play without counting, about 15 AI coach reviews a day (fair use), Gems every month and no sponsored picks. You can try Pro free for 14 days, no card needed. **Is Wordojo in beta?** Yes. Wordojo is in beta on Android: everything on this page works today, and new screens and fixes arrive in the background as live updates. Tell us what to fix at hello@wordojo.com. **What does Wordojo help with?** Speaking and writing, ten minutes a day. Out loud: interviews, pitches, presentations, calls, speeches and toasts. On the page: posts, emails, scripts for reels and videos, memos and stories. **Why train speaking and writing when AI can write for me?** AI can draft the words. You still have to know what you mean, brief it clearly, judge what comes back, and say it yourself when it counts: in the interview, on the call, at the pitch. Communication was No. 1 on LinkedIn's list of the most in-demand skills for 2024. Wordojo trains it, ten minutes a day. **Can't I just use ChatGPT?** For drafts, sure. Wordojo is for the part a chatbot can't do for you: it coaches your own takes and your own drafts, so you get better instead of more dependent. Most AI talks for you. Ours trains you to talk. **Is Wordojo an AI writer?** No. Wordojo uses AI as a coach, not a ghostwriter. Scribble marks your draft and says why, and Bubble listens to your take. Where it suggests something, like a tighter line or the beats of a reel, you decide what stays. The words are yours. **Can my children use Wordojo?** Wordojo is made for adults at work and study, and anyone under 18 needs a parent's or guardian's permission. Your kids will grow up with AI: show them what a clear voice sounds like by practising where they can hear you. A version made for teenagers is on our list. **How does the Mirror work?** You talk to your phone. The Mirror reads your camera and microphone on the phone and shows your filler words, pace and pauses. The video is never uploaded or saved. **What is a Room?** An AI role-play for a hard conversation: an interview, a pitch to an investor, a sales call, a boardroom. The AI plays the other side, you answer out loud, and you get a score and one thing to fix for round two. **How does the red pen work?** Paste or write a draft and Scribble, the AI editor, marks what to cut and says why. You keep the cuts you like. Studio has fifteen formats, from posts and reels to emails, speeches and stories. **Who are Bubble, Scribble, Nib and Babble?** Your coaches. Bubble hosts speaking, Scribble hosts writing, Nib gives free hints in games and quizzes, and Babble keeps you company in your first week. **Does practising like this actually work?** In published studies, people who learned to notice their filler words and pause instead used fewer of them. The Mirror trains exactly that. [The research](https://wordojo.com/terms#claims). Results depend on your practice. **Which phones does Wordojo run on?** Android phones on Android 8.0 or later. iPhone comes later. **Why isn't it on Google Play yet?** While Wordojo is new, it's shared as a signed Android app from wordojo.app. It's coming to Google Play as Wordojo: Speak & Write Better. **Is it safe to install from wordojo.app?** The app is signed by Neelverse Lab, and the details above list its SHA-256 checksum so you can check the file. Android only asks you to allow installs from your browser once. **What happens to my voice when I try a rep here?** In Chrome and other browsers with built-in speech-to-text, your browser sends the audio to its own speech service (Google's, in Chrome) to turn it into text. Nothing reaches Wordojo and nothing is saved. Where a browser has no speech-to-text, the page only measures talk time and pauses on your device. Typing works everywhere. **Does Wordojo work offline?** Most of it does: practice, games, the Mirror's on-phone readings, your drafts and the library books you've opened. AI coaching, videos and syncing need the internet. **Which permissions does it ask for?** Microphone for speaking practice and dictation, camera for the Mirror only (read on the phone, never uploaded), notifications for the reminders you switch on, and internet for AI, videos and sync.
